ImageMagick Vers 3.7 will be installed on the exp tree this afternoon and
will be avaliable for all platforms tomorrow. The following changes will
be made in the /exp/rcf/share/X11R5/bin directory:
animate -> animate-3.7
animate.old -> animate-3.0
combine -> combine-3.7
combine.old -> combine-3.0
convert -> convert-3.7
convert.old -> convert-3.0
display -> display-3.7
display.old -> display-3.0
identify -> identify-3.7
import -> import-3.7
import.old -> import-3.0
mogrify -> mogrify-3.7
mogrify.old -> mogrify-3.0
montage -> montage-3.7
montage.old -> montage-3.0
What is ImageMagick:
ImageMagick is an X11 package for display and interactive
manipulation of images. The package includes tools for
image conversion, annotation, compositing, animation, and
creating montages. ImageMagick can read and write many of
the more popular image formats (e.g. JPEG, TIFF, PNM, XPM,
Photo CD, etc.)
