ATOM
New version of ATOM (2.14A) will be installed on thor and opine tomorrow (3/9).
The documentation can be found under /usr/lib/cmplrs/atom/doc:
- /usr/lib/cmplrs/atom/doc/3rd.ps
A description of the Third Degree tool.
- /usr/lib/cmplrs/atom/doc/3rd.cheat.ps
A single page quick reference sheet of Third Degree
options.
- /usr/lib/cmplrs/atom/doc/user.ps
A preliminary version of the Atom User's Manual.
This manual is based on the original ADK User's Manual
with additions describing the new features added to
Atom. The author, Alan Eustace (WRL), is continuing to
improve this manual and would like comments sent
directly to him (eustace@pa.dec.com).
- /usr/lib/cmplrs/atom/doc/ref.ps
A reference guide for the original ADK version of Atom.
This does not reflect any of the new Atom features, but
may be useful as background material. Any discrepancies
between this manual and the user's manual should be
resolved in favor of the user's manual.
NOTE:
Be sure to read the Third Degree manual even if you have used
Third Degree in the past. This version of Third Degree has new
features not available in previous versions. It is also invoked
somewhat differently, for instance, you do not need to pass
"-heapbase progend" any more. Third Degree now also works on
applications that use shared libraries.
