software usage

The latest version of MPICH has been installed on the SGI Cluster. The path to the hierarchy is:

        /opt/pkg/mpich-1.0.11

Hopefully this version will perform better than 1.0.10. It has been configured as:

        -arch=sgi5 -device=ch_p4 -comm=ch_p4 -opt=-O -nodevdebug

and as:

        -arch=sgi5 -device=ch_p4 -comm=shared -opt=-O -nodevdebug
