  SIDE EFFECTS

PERL 5 is now installed as "perl". Perl 4.036 is available as either perl4
or perl4.036. Perl was installed as a link in /usr/local/bin. This link
has been changed to the perl5 binary.

Perl 5 is more strongly aware of possible variable substititions and as such
will give warnings when characters need to be escaped (ie: roskens\@cs.umn.edu)
